Mala Sichuan MKT

For Mala, gin design group has imagined this space with a focus on the natural beauty of the Sichuan countryside, giving guests the chance to experience snapshots of life in rural villages through the use of thoughtful art installations and finish applications. 

Through the massive circular facade window, a deep blue of evening skies is a backdrop to an installation of dozens of glowing Chinese lanterns floating up to 20’ above the dining room. Floating paper-thin ceramic Chinese Lanterns adorn the space's high ceilings, capturing the moment of being released into the night sky.
